Nothing can replace hands-on experimenting for true engagement and understanding! Bring years of science teaching & enrichment experience to your K-8 child with STEM Pods. Students will take part in inquiry-based activities to collaborate with others, sharpen skills, and spark an interest in science. STEM Pods are offered in small groups of students with proper safety precautions and may be added to Learning Pods or tutoring sessions.
Facilitate live learning and social interaction for your child under the guidance of an experienced teacher by creating your own learning pod to meet in a safe yet interactive capacity. Pods are tailored to each group’s desired learning style and frequency and ensure that distance learning assignments are being managed, completed & understood. Whether your child needs extra support with subject matter, organization and completion of homework, or more of a challenge with academic enhancement, help is here! Heather Rydzeski
I am an educator with over 18 years of elementary and middle school classroom teaching experience. I have worked successfully with students of varied learning styles and academic needs across multiple subject areas. I have also enjoyed running after-school Science clubs and summer camps offering fun and engaging STEM investigations as well as providing private tutoring for elementary through high school students.
My highest priorities are to establish a connection and gain an understanding of student needs to facilitate meaningful learning and positive experiences. I recognize students as individuals and meet them where they are to build upon their strengths and provide assistance with an enthusiastic, patient, and kind approach.
As an experienced educator and parent of two myself, I have a thorough understanding of what it is like to navigate the path of education today from all perspectives. My objectives are to provide knowledgeable, compassionate academic support, engaging enrichment, and to inspire a love of learning during this pivotal time in education.
